To celebrate the opening our first Flagship location in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, we’ve handpicked our favourite local spots for you to explore.

Morning Coffee

The Northern Quarter is home to the best independent speciality coffee shops in the city. One of our favourite spots to grab your early morning flat white is Just Between Friends on Tib Street, just around the corner from Flagship. Serving up Assembly coffee, alongside a great looking counter of pastries, cakes and sandwiches, you’ll become a regular here in no time.

With so many great places on Flagship’s doorstep, you will never be short of choice for lunch. Head to Siop Shop on Tib Street for sourdough sandwiches, hearty salads, soups and baked goods. They also happen to be the purveyors of Manchester’s finest doughnuts. Trust us.

Shop Local

Got time for a spot of lunch time shopping? Check out iconic independent men’s clothing retailer Oi Polloi on Thomas Street, or pop into Manchester institution Oklahoma on High Street, for all of those homeware & lifestyle pieces you never knew you needed (it’s a challenge to walk out empty handed.)

After-work Burn

Release those endorphins after a hard days work in the office at BLO’ on Ducie Street. With a huge range of classes from Boxing to Pilates and Barre to Yoga, there is a class to suit everyone, whatever your fitness level. BLOK’s first class facilities, pristine studios and top service is enough to make anyone want to throw on their workout gear.

Evening Plans

Mackie Mayor on Eagle Street has got it all. Since opening in late 2017, this stunning 1858 Grade II Listed former market hall, has quickly become the perfect venue for after work drinks and a relaxed dinner. It is an impressive space and our go-to when looking for somewhere to entertain a client or colleague. Home to a selection of the very best independent food traders in Manchester, there is a cuisine to suit everyone around the table. Our top tip? Go for one of everything and share!

The Northern Quarter is Manchester’s most vibrant, thriving and creative community, at Flagship we are excited to be a part of it and confident that our members will love it as much as we do. We are certain that you will make your mark here in no time. If you need further recommendations on the area, get in touch with us via social media: @flagshipspaces or speak to our Manchester Community Manager, Emma, who is on hand to help with any of your queries.
